Osun State House of Assembly Speaker Honourable Timothy Owoeye has affirmed the commitment of members of the State Parliament to do everything within the ambit of law to complement series of lives touching programmes and initiatives embark upon by Govenor Adegboyega Oyetola's administration.
Honourable Timothy Owoeye made the commitment in Ilobu, Irepodun local government area while Commissioning three motorized boreholes in Ilobu,Erin-osun and Ifon Osun sank by the member of the state parliament representing Orolu/Irepodun state Constituency, Honourable Nasril Olateju.
The official Commissioning programme similarly afforded the state house of Assembly presiding officer, honourable Owoeye to observed a symbolic presentation of the empowerment items bought by honourable Nasril Olateju and highlight frantic and timely efforts of governor Adegboyega Oyetola's administration in fixing and making Lameco area Osogbo road to Ilajue/ oyo state boundary motorable.
He said it is sacrosanct for dwellers and inhabitants of Irepodun/Orolu to work round the clock and ensure they galvanize massive votes for Gov Oyetola during the July 16 Governorship election.
Honourable Owoeye had earlier appreciated honourable Nasril Olateju for the provision of the empowerment items for his Constituents. He equally informed the beneficiaries and the party leaders of the State Constituency that honourable Olateju is an upright and truthworthy father whose contributions towards the continued peace and progress of the assembly is indelible.
In his address,the organizer of programme who doubles as a Lawmaker representing Orolu/ Irepodun state Constituency, Honourable Nasril Olateju said provision of boreholes is to ensure regular water supply in his Constituency.
He also explained that the donation of empowerment items for artisans, farmers and petty traders is basically to give back to the people of his Constituency with a view to supporting them.
In their, submissions,the former member representing Orolu/ Irepodun state Constituency, Honourable Kamil Oyedele and Evangelist Oluremi Willson said despite the fact that the state Parliament members do get money to finance Constituency project, honourable Olateju's kind gesture is commendable.
Highlight of the occasion was the presentation of empowerment items such as hair dryers, grinding and sewing machines,farm tools, sprayers, plumbing machine among others for the beneficiaries that were selected across all wards in Orolu/ Irepodun state Constituency.
