The Osun State Police Command has admitted its claim that remains of the Obafemi Awolowo University,MBA Student Timothy Adegoke was deposited in Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex, Ile-Ife.
FTNEWS gathered that the Command’s Police Public Relations Officers, DSP Yemisi Opalola during the week in an interview with Fresh FM, Osogbo confirmed that the corpse of Adegoke has been deposited in OAUTH while investigation continues.
But after a press statement from OAUTH management dismissing the claim from the Osun police, Opalola in another interview admitted that the claim of depositing Adegoke’s remains in OAUTH was a mistake saying the body of the slain MBA student is currently in Osun State University Teaching Hospital ,OSUTH, Osogbo.
According to the Osun PPRO “the corpse was deposited at OSUTH teaching hospital, not Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals.
“We are very sorry to the management of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, we don’t have anything to hide and all the part of the body still intact” She said.
