The Speaker of Nigeria’s House of Representatives has inaugurated a 40-man Special Security Committee.
Femi Gbajabiamila said the task before the committee is to carry out a comprehensive study of the nation’s security architecture and formulate ways of achieving improved security.
The Speaker said the climax of the panel’s assignment is a four-day security summit in May that will bring together security chiefs and other security experts.
