A social political Group within the All Progressives Congress APC, in Osun, Progressives e-Group has elected Hon. Yekeen Taoheed Ademola Omo-Omi as its new Coordinator.
Hon. Yekeen Taoheed Omo-Omi in his acceptance speech, promised to be a selfless leader and work relentlessly in promoting the goodwill of APC in the state.
According to him "Leadership is all about shared vision and responsibility. I want to assure you that during my tenure, I will build on the achievements of my predecessors in office.
"I am aware of the fact that the assignment is daunting therefore, I call on all my colleagues to join me to reflect on our past, critically assess the present and look forward to the future with greater hope and enthusiasm."
"The mandate comes with a huge responsibility to paddle the canoe of this noble group for 2 years, a mandate and responsibility I appreciate and do not take lightly."
Hon. Omo-Omi and his new executive members promised to always promote the professional and political interests of all members and solicited their support in piloting the affairs of the group for the next two years.
He commended the BOT "I deeply appreciate the highest level of support I received from our members, BOT and immediate past excos which I was part of. I thank the Chairman and members of the Electoral Committee under the chairmanship of Mr Adebiyi Wasiu, for the well co-ordinated electoral process."
