The Osun State residents have cart away 95 Motorcycles, 75 Freezer, 75 Generator 75 Sewing machine, 75 Grinding machine, and 50 bags of Fertilizer at Senator Ajibola Basiru Wherehouse in okinin on Saturday.
The looted items were meant for zonal intervention programme items facilitated by Senator Ajibola Basiru but procured by the Federal Cooperative College, Ibadan for the people of Osun Central Senatorial District which was slated for November, 2020.
Amid the reports of looting in parts of the country, the angry crowd was said to have gained entry into the senator’s Wherehouse in okinni by shattering the entrance doors and windows.
While reacting the sanator media aide Yusuf Olatunji in a statement said the Items was not kept at Senator Ajibola private residence at the GRA.
According to the statement " Senator Ajibola Basiru did not at any time, keep any of those items in his private residence at the GRA.
We want to state categorically that all the items carted away have special mechanism for their tracing and retrieval.
We therefore enjoin peace-loving members not to buy or trade with any of the stolen items, as whoever does, does so at their own risk." He added
