Some South-West governors and ministers, on Sunday, visited the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, over the destruction of public and private facilities in the state.
Those present are Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo, Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti, and Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state, Rauf Aregbesola the Minister of the Interior, Babatunde Fashola the Minister of Power and Housing, Olorunmibe Mamowora the Minister of State for Health and Niyi Adebayo the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment.
Others are Sunday Dare, Minister of Youth and Sports Development, and Olamilekan Adebite, Minister of Mines and Steel.
During the visit, the governor took them on a tour of some of the facilities set ablaze.
Government-owned and private assets affected include Orile Divisional Police Headquarters, Ajah Divisional headquarters, Amukoko Police Station on Cemetery Road, Lagos State Public Works Corporation in Ojodu, Lagos Island LGA Secretariat, City Hall, Nigeria Port Authority (NPA) Building at Marina, Lagos State DNA and Forensic Centre at CMS, Vehicle Inspection Service (VIS) headquarters in Ojodu and Toll Plazas at Lekki and Ikoyi Link Bridge, among others.
