Iyaniwura Lauds Oyetola for approving Minimum Wage

A leading aspirant for the Chairmanship of Olorunda North LCDA, Hon Sakirat Adeoye Iyaniwura has commended Gov. Adegboyega Oyetola for approving the payment of the minimum wage and promotion of workers in Osun State .


She said with this, the Oyetola led adminstration has shown commitment to the welfare of workers in the state. his commented for steady development and welfarinsim of workers 


The chairmanship hopeful stressed that when implementation begins, the minimum wage would not only have a positive social impact but also bring wider economic benefits to the state.



Iyaniwura who spoke in an interview with newsmen in Osogbo on Friday added that "As they reduce wage inequality, it wil lhelp sustain domestic demand and strengthen incentives to work. Adequate minimum wages can also help reduce the gender pay gap, since more women than men earn a minimum wage. "


Commending Gov.Oyetola, she described him as a pathfinder and a silent achiever whose good works since the inception of his administration is steadily reassuring of a better tomorrow for the state.




Iyaniwura said, “A true leader is not just the driver of men and resources, he is one with an uncommon vision for the masses which he guards jealously and works assiduously to ensure.


“Leadership is all about service delivery and the pursuit of making life bearable for the people. For Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola, he combines an effective administrative style with finesse, tenacity, values and taste for everything that will ensure good governance of the people.”
