BREAKING: ENDSARS: Osun Youth'sCall Off Protest, Give Govt 2 weeks To Negotiate

 EndSARS protesters in Osun State on Friday said they have Suspended their demonstration in the state capital.


The protesting youths said they were ready to shield their swords and allow the peace to reign once the government also ready to replicate the same by meeting their demands .

While addressing the protesters Engr. Olalekan Badmus said the Osun state Government has set up 12 man  Judicial Panel of Inquiry on Police Brutality to look into the cases of assault, illegal arrest, killings, brutality and other forms of rights abuse by the officers and men of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigerian Police and the death of two persons at two different locations last Saturday.

Engr. Olalekan Badmus, appealed to the youths, who he noted are the genuine protesters to give the government a chance to work on their demands by suspending their street protests. 

One of the leaders of the EndSARS protesters in Osogbo, Osun State capital, Comrade Oluwaseun Adebisi Emmanuel, popularly called Captain made this known while addressing his colleagues at the popular Olaiya junction, their usual convergence spot.

One of the leaders of the EndSARS protesters in Osogbo, Osun State capital, Comrade Oluwaseun Adebisi Emmanuel, popularly called Captain while speaking with FTNEWS said, is fighting for the betterment of the society and fighting for the youths.
According to him "The government should come out and immediately arrest of those SARS personnel that killed our brothers in our midst and face the penalty. Two of our brothers were killed on Saturday which is 9th day of our peaceful protest.

"In this tussle have demands that face the Federal, state government and local constituency, if Governor cannot meet national demands because he don't have the power but let him meet the state demand.

"We don't want the government to tell us that they dismissed those SARS personnel and transfer them to other state to live their life while this people have put some family into sorrow and agony". he said

However as at the of this report Comrade Oluwaseun Adebisi Emmanuel, said he is going to have meeting with the Youths to seek their opinion, before he agree with the government to call off the strike.
